It's tempting to treat a sales conversation like a performance. In practice, the strongest conversations are usually the clearest and most human.

Lead with curiosity

Start by understanding the person in front of you. Ask a relevant question, listen to the answer, and adapt. A memorized script is a starting point, not a substitute for attention.

Explain the value simply

Say what you do in plain language. Avoid jargon or a flood of features. If you can't explain the benefit in a sentence, work with your trainer until you can.

Respect the answer

Not every door will become a conversation, and not every conversation will become a sale. Respect a no, never pressure someone, and leave people with a good impression. Trust matters more than a clever closing line.

The more you practice listening, the easier it gets to speak with confidence.
